SOSYAL BİLGİLER DERSLERİNDE YEREL TARİH KONULARI VE YAKLAŞIMLARI (1968-2018)

Özet

Türkiye’de ilköğretim (ilkokul ve ortaokul) aşamasındaki tarih eğitimi, 1968’den beri genel olarak sosyal bilgiler dersi içinde sunulmaktadır. Sosyal bilgiler derslerinin içerik, kapsam, anlayış tarzındaki değişimlere paralel olarak tarih dersleri de pek çok değişim geçirmiştir. Tarih dersleri içinde kendisine yer bulan yerel tarih konuları ve bu konulara yaklaşım söz konusu bu durumdan etkilenmiştir. Bu makalede, 1968-2018 yılları arasında sosyal bilgiler dersi merkezinde tarih eğitiminde yaşanan gelişmelerin yerel tarih konularını hangi yönde etkilediği sorgulanmaya çalışılmıştır. Araştırmada nitel yöntem kullanılmış olup, doküman analizi yapılarak veriler elde edilmiştir. Araştırmanın evreni 1939-2015 yılları arasında düzenlenen milli eğitim şuraları, 1968- 2018 sosyal bilgiler öğretim programları, 1978-2015 yılları arası sosyal bilgiler ders kitapları olmuştur. Maksimum çeşitlilik örneklemesi, örneklem seçme yöntemi olarak kullanılarak çok sayıda ve çeşitlikte dokümana ulaşılmıştır.

Abstract

History education at primary education stage (primary school and middle school) in Turkey since 1968 in general is presented in social studies courses. Parallel to the changes in the content, scope and undestanding of social studies courses, history courses have also undergone many changes. The local history subjects in history courses and the approach to these subjects were influenced by this changes. In this study, it tries to question how these improvements in history education in social studies courses, between 1968 and 2018, affect local history subjects. The method of research is qualitative research and the data was obtained by analyzing the document. The population of the study is the national education program organized between the years 1939-2015, the social studies education programs of 1968-2018, and the social studies textbook of the years 1978-2015. Maximum variation sampling was used as sample selection method, and a large number and variety of documents were reached.
