Yabancılara Türkçe Öğretimi Sertifika Programına Katılan Öğretmenlerin Mültecilere Yönelik Tutumları

Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı; Yabancılara Türkçe öğretimi sertifika programına katılan öğretmenlerin, mültecilere/sığınmacılara karşı tutumlarını ve bu tutumların, katılımcıların cinsiyet, branş, mesleki tecrübe, yaş, medeni durum, çalıştıkları kurum değişkenlerine göre değişip değişmediğini belirlemektir. Araştırmanın örneklemini KSÜ TÖMER’de sertifika programına katılan öğretmenler (N:76) oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada, veri toplama aracı olarak Ommundsen ve Larsen’ in (1997) geliştirdiği (Illegal Aliens Scale), Yelpaze’nin (2018) Türkçeye uyarladığı 5’li likert tipi “Mültecilere/Sığınmacılara Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Öğretmenler yabancılara Türkçe öğretimine yönelik konuları kapsayan 61 saatlik sertifika programına katılmıştır. Tutum ölçeği deney grubuna ön test-son test şeklinde uygulanmıştır. Ön test-son testten elde edilen veriler, bağımlı örneklem t-testi ile, değişkenler Mann Whitney U testi ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda, sertifika programına katılan öğretmenlerin mültecilere/sığınmacılara karşı tutumlarında anlamlı bir fark olduğu; öğretmenlerin cinsiyet, branş, mesleki tecrübe, yaş, medeni durum ve çalıştıkları kurum değişkenlerine göre mültecilere/sığınmacılara yönelik tutumlarında anlamlı bir değişiklik olmadığı saptanmıştır.
Abstract
The aim of this study was to examine the attitudes of the teachers attending the Turkish Language Teaching Program towards their refugees / asylum seekers and their attitudes towards gender, branch, occupational experience, age, marital status and institution variables. The sample of the study consisted of teachers who participated in the certificate program at KSU TÖMER (N: 76). In the study, '' Attitude Scale for Refugees / Asylum Seekers '' which was developed by Ommundsen and Larsen (1997) and adapted by Yelpaze(2018) to Turkish was used as data collection tool. Teachers participated in a 61 hour certificate program covering subjects for teaching Turkish to foreigners. Attitude scale was applied as pre-test-post-test to the experimental group. The data obtained from pretest-posttest were analyzed by dependent sample t-test and the variables were analyzed by Mann Whitney U test. As a result of the study, it was seen that there was a significant difference in the attitudes of teachers and their attitudes towards refugees / asylum seekers according to gender, branch, professional experience, age, marital status and institution variables.
