Özet
Geçmişten günümüze tütün ve zamanla sigaraya dönüşümünün tarihçesinde ilginç hikayelere denk gelmekteyiz. Birçok medeniyetin tütüne yüklediği, kendilerine has bir misyonu söz konusu olmuştur. Bu misyonlar aslında o medeniyetlerin olası sağlık sorunları ile ilgili de bize ışık tutmuştur. Tıp bilimi geliştikçe tütünün zararları konusunda ortak paydada toplanılmış ve eski misyonlar artık birer masal olarak literatürde yerlerini almıştır.
Abstract
The transformation of tobacco from the past to the present has an interesting history. Many civilizations have a mission regarding tobacco. These missions are actually related to the health problems of those civilizations. As medical science developed, on the harms of tobacco were understood. Missions of ancient times remain in the literature.
