Günde 4, 8 ve 24 çevirme olmak üzere üç farklı çevirme sıklığı uygulanmıştır. Abstract
The aim of this study was to determine the effects of different turning frequency on hatchability traits and hatching weight in Japanese quails (Coturnix coturnix japonica). Three different turning frequencies, 4, 8 and 24 times a day, were applied. Hatching weights were determined as 7.70±0.029 g, 7.86±0.028g and 8.21±0.032g in 4, 8 and 24 times turning a day groups, respectively. Differences among the groups were significant in respect to hatching weight (p<0.01), whereas there was no significant differences found among the groups in terms of hatchability traits.
