Öğretmen Adaylarının Geliştirdikleri İnfografiklerin Değerlendirilmesi

Özet
Öz: Bu çalışmanın amacı Bilgisayar ve Öğretim Teknolojileri Eğitimi öğretmen adaylarının geliştirdikleri infografiklerin değerlendirilmesidir. Çalışmanın örneklemi 2016-2017 eğitim-öğretim yılının güz yarıyılında Eğitim Bilimine Giriş dersini alan 87 öğretmen adayından oluşmaktadır. Öğretmen adayları gönüllülük esasına göre 29 grup oluşturmuşlardır. Çalışma 4 haftada gerçekleştirilmiştir. İlk iki haftada infografik hakkında bilgi verilerek nasıl geliştirileceği ile ilgili örnek uygulamalar yaptırılmıştır. Son iki haftada da öğretmen adayları geri dönütler alarak infografiklerini tamamlamışlardır. Öğretmen adayları Eğitimin Felsefi Temelleri konusunda infografik hazırlamışlardır. Öğretmen adaylarının hazırladıkları infografikler Davidson (2014) ile Lamb ve Jhonson (2014)’nın belirlediği tasarım özelliklerine göre araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen rubrik aracılığıyla analiz edilmiştir. Belirlenen öğelere göre öğretmen adaylarının geliştirdikleri infografikler yeterli, kısmen yeterli ve yetersiz kategorilerinde değerlendirilmiştir. Analiz sonuçlarına göre öğretmen adaylarının yeterli düzeyde infografiklerini tasarlayamadıkları görülmüştür. Bu bağlamda öğretmen adaylarının farklı konularda da infografik hazırlamalarına ve deneyim kazanımlarına fırsat sunan öğrenme ortamları oluşturulması önerilmektedir.
Abstract
The aim of the study is to evaluate the infographics developed by computer and instructional technology education prospective teacher. The sample of the study is composed of 87 computer and instructional technology education prospective teacher who were were taking the Introduction to Educational Science course of in the fall semester during the 2016-2017 academic year. Prospective teachers are divided into 29 groups on the basis of volunteerism. The study was conducted in 4 weeks. In the first two weeks, infographic information was provided and sample applications were made about how to improve it. In the last two weeks, the prospective teachers have taken their feedback and finalized their infographics. It was designed infographics on the Philosophical Foundations of Education by prospective teachers. The infographics designed by the prospective teachers were analyzed by the researchers rubric developed according to the design specifications of Davidson (2014) and Lamb and Jhonson (2014). According to the items determined, infographics were evaluated in sufficient, partially adequate and insufficient categories. At the end of this study results of the analysis, it was seen that the prospective teachers could not design infographics at sufficient level. In this context, it is proposed to create learning environments that offer opportunities for prospective teachers to prepare their infographics and experience in different subjects.
