Özet

The term predestination has both theological and philosophical implications. Although the problem has the same basic question, different religions seems to have given it different answers. Having the common root, Judaism and Christianity tackled this issue similarly. Considering this common background, we tried to put out the roots of humanity's historical fatalistic trends. It seems both theologies have similar conceptions on divine will and its relation to that of human.
