Investments Of Turkey In The Field Of PTT Following The World War II

Abstract
Turkey did not live the destruction of the World War II by not entering the war. However, investments in the country slowed down and a significant impoverishment was seen. In 1945, when the war ended up, countries which did not entered the war gave a momentum to their economic investments as countries entered the war. Turkey, within its own possibilities, had a significant foreign exchange and gold stocks at the end of the war. Although significant investments were done during the DP period between 1950-1960, RPP created an important saving before then. In this paper, the importance that Turkey had given to investments on communication between 1945-1960 were explained

Türkiye, II. Dünya Savaşı’na girmeyerek savaşın yıkımını yaşamadı. Buna karşın ülkede yatırımlar yavaşladı ve önemli bir yoksullaşma görüldü. 1945’de savaş bitince, savaşa giren ülkeler gibi girmeyen ülkeler de ekonomik yatırımlarına hız verdiler. Türkiye, savaşın sonunda, kendi imkânları dâhilinde önemli bir döviz ve altın stokuna sahip bulunuyordu. 1950-1960 arasındaki DP döneminde önemli yatırımlar yapılmış olmasına karşın, bunun öncesinde CHP önemli bir birikim oluşturmuştu. Bu makalede, Türkiye’nin 1945-1950 arasındaki iletişim (PTT) yatırımlarına verdiği önem anlatılmaktadır
