Biz bu yazımızda, daha çok, yetim ve yeterli himayeden mahrum çocuklara vakıflarca sağlanan himayeden bahsedeceğiz. Bu çeşit himayeye daha ziyade maddî yardım, maddî himaye denebilir. Hepsine şâmil himayeye de mânevî-himâye diyebiliriz.
