TÜRKİYE SENDİKAL HAREKETİ İÇİNDE CİNSEL YÖNELİM VE CİNSİYET KİMLİĞİ TEMELLİ AYRIMCILIKLA MÜCADELE ÜZERİNE BİR DEĞERLENDİRME

Özet

Bu çalışma, sendikal hareket içinde cinsel yönelim ve cinsiyet kimliği temelli ayrımcılıkla mücadele politikaları ve stratejileri üzerine yoğunlaşmaktadır. Gerçekleştirilen alan araştırması aracılığıyla Türkiye sendikal hareketi içinde cinsel yönelim ve cinsiyet kimliği temelli ayrımcılıkla mücadelenin görünürlüğü sorgulanmaktadır. Bu sorgulama süreci yarı yapılandırılmış görüşmeler aracılığıyla somutlaştırılmaya çalışılmıştır. Ayrıca sendika web sitelerinden elektronik veri toplama tekniğiyle konuya ilişkin sendikal faaliyet ve belgeler de taranmıştır. Elde edilen bu bilgiler, bulguların oluşturulmasında diğer unsurlarla ilişkilendirilerek anlamlandırılmıştır. Sendikal politikalarda LGBTİ görünürlüğü, sendika tüzük ve belgeleri ile toplu iş sözleşmesi metinlerinde cinsel yönelim ve cinsiyet kimliği temelli ayrımcılıkla mücadele, LGBTİ mücadelesinin sendika yayınları, internet siteleri ve sosyal medya hesaplarında ne ölçüde yer bulduğu, LGBTİ üyelerin sendika komite ve komisyonları aracılığıyla temsili, sendika eğitim ve farkındalık faaliyetlerinde cinsel yönelim ve cinsiyet kimliği ve sendikaların diğer LGBTİ örgütlerle oluşturdukları dayanışma ağları çalışmada tartışmaya açılan konular arasındadır. Çalışma sonucunda cinsel yönelim ve cinsiyet kimliği temelli ayrımcılıkla mücadelenin Türkiye’de çok az sayıda sendika tarafından son derece sınırlı faaliyetlerle yürütülmeye çalışıldığı tespit edilmiştir

Abstract

This study focuses on the policies and strategies ofthe trade union movement to combat the discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.The visibility of the struggle by the Turkish trade unionmovement against the discrimination based on sexualorientation and gender identity is examined through thefield research. This examination was tried to be embodied through semi-structured interviews. Besides, thetrade unions’ activities and documents related to thistopic were also searched on their web sites using electronic data collection technique. LGBTI visibility intrade unions’ policies, combating the discriminationbased on sexual orientation and gender identity in theguidelines and documents of the trade unions and thetexts of the collective agreements, the level of the coverage LGBTI struggle gets on trade unions’ publications, web sites and social media accounts, therepresentation of LGBTI members through the committees and commissions of the trade unions, sexual orientation and gender identity in the trade unions’training and awareness activities and the solidarity networks formed of the trade unions and other LGBTI organizations were among the topics discussed in thisstudy. As a result of the study, it was determined thatthe struggle against the discrimination based on sexualorientation and gender identity is being carried out inTurkey by very few number of trade unions, by way ofextremely limited activities
