Türkiye’deki ortaöğretim sanat tarihi müfredat programı ile almanya, fransa ve italya müfredat programlarının karşılaştırılması

Türkiye’de, ortaöğretimde, sanat tarihi eğitimi bir takım sorunlar içinde giderek önemini yitirmektedir. Sanat tarihi dersleri ortaöğretimde, önceleri zorunlu, sonradan alana göre zorunlu iken bu gün bütün alanlarda (Anadolu Güzel Sanatlar Liseleri hariç) seçmeli ders durumuna gelmiştir. Oysa tarih boyunca insanın yaratıp geliştirdiği sanat eserleri, ait olduğu toplumun kültür hazinesini oluşturmaktadır. Bunların öğrenilmesi ve öğretilmesi, geçmişine ve geleceğine sahip çıkan nesillerin yetişmesini sağlayacaktır. Sanat tarihi eğitiminin sorunlarından biri de kapsamlı olmasına rağmen lise seviyesine ağır gelen ve hayatın içine alınmayan, öğrencinin pasif duruma geldiği müfredat programlarıdır. Müfredat programının durumunu tespit etmek, olumlu ve olumsuz yönlerini belirlemek için böyle bir çalışma yapılmıştır. Ayrıca, Almanya, Fransa ve İtalya gibi sanat ve sanat tarihi alanında birçok gelişmelere sahne olmuş ülkeler seçilerek bizdeki durumun daha net anlaşılması amaçlanmıştır.

Turkey, the education of art history has been losing its importance in secondary education level, being involved in some problems. Lessons of art history were compulsory in the secondary schooling level in the beginning, then it became compulsory according to the branch of education, and today it has become an optional lesson in all branches of education (except for Anatolian Fine Arts High Schools). Whereas the pieces of art that humans have created and developed through history creates the culture treasure of the society to which it belongs. Learning and teaching them shall allow for education of generations who will respect their past and the future.
Another problem of art history is the curriculum which, though comprehensive, is difficult to handle in high school level and is not involved in real life and in which students are left passive. This study has been conducted in order to determine the situation of curriculum and their positive-negative sides. Also, the countries that have become the scene of many developments in art as well as art history such as Germany, France and Italy were selected and it has been aimed that our situation should be understood better.
