In this research it was aimed to determine the attitude of music teachers towards profession of music teaching profession. Moreover, it was analyzed whether the attitude of music teachers towards music teaching profession differ according to gender, age, school and occupational tenure. Study group is composed of 50 music teachers serving at public and private schools. Data of the study was collected with Attitude Scale towards Music Teaching Profession developed by Tufan and Güdek and personal information form. The results of the research show that music teachers have a positive attitude towards music teaching profession and that the attitude of music teachers do not have significant difference according to gender, age and occupational tenure, and that the attitude of music teachers towards music teaching profession has significant difference according to the school variable on behalf of the music teachers working at public schools.
