The aim of this research is to identify the state of elementary Turkish-Language Teachers who are still on duty in applying creative writing activities devoted to the narration genre from literary texts. This research is in the general scanning model performed with 86 Turkish-Language Teachers in total with this aim. “ The Assessment Scale For Application Level of 6-8th Grade Elementary Turkish- Language Teachers in Applying Creative Writing Studies” is used with the aim of assessing the state of Turkish-Language Teachers in applying creative writing activities. “The Scale of Problems Encountered in Application of Creative Writing Activities” is used with the aim of identifying problems encountered during the application of creative writing activities. “The Scale of Offers Enhanced to Perform Creative Writing Studies Effectively” is used with the aim of identifying solution offers enhanced for the problems encountered during the application of creative writing activities. According to the results of the research, Turkish- Language Teachers generally apply the items in planning phase of narrationbased creative writing activities. The items in the part of initiating plot and terminating plot are the ones which Turkish-Language Teachers do not prefer so much during writing studies. When looking at the heroes part, teachers apply some parts of these items in beginner level, some parts of them in intermediate level. The items under the headline of place and time with “other” also have an intermediate application level. According to these findings, the application state of narration-based creative writing activities by Turkish-Language Teachers is not in sufficient level.
