Muhasebe mesleğinin seçilmesini etkileyen faktörlerin incelenmesi: yalova ve bilecik illeri örneği

Muhasebe mesleği, Türkiye'de 1989 yılında kabul edilen 3568 sayılı kanun ile yasal statüsüne kavuşmuştur. Tüm meslek gruplarında olduğu gibi muhasebe mesleğinin de seçiminde etkili olan birçok faktör bulunmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, muhasebe meslek mensuplarının muhasebe mesleğini seçmelerini etkileyen faktörleri ve bu faktörlerin önem derecelerini incelemektir. Bu amaçla Yalova ve Bilecik illerinde çalışan muhasebe meslek mensuplarına yönelik bir araştırma gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın bulgularına göre, muhasebe meslek mensuplarının bu mesleği seçmelerini etkileyen faktörler altı grup altında toplanmış ve mesleğin saygın bir sosyal statü sunması, masa başı işlerden olması ve gelecekte de önemini koruyacağı düşüncesi açıklayıcılığı yüksek olan faktörler olarak belirlenmiştir.

The profession of accountancy gained a legal status by the Act 3568 that was put into effect in 1989. There are many factors that are important in preferance of the accounting profession as are in the all pro-fession goups. The purpose of this study is to examine the factors that affect the choice members of ac-countancy profession. In order to achieve this purpose, a research was conducted on accountants working in Yalova and Bilecik cities. Findings revealed that the factors affecting the selection of accountancy profession combined into six groups and the factors called providing respected social status, being indoor job, and the opinion of maintaining the importance in the future were determined as higher explanatory factors than others.
