Süleyman nazif’in “dicle ve ben” şiiri üzerine tahlil denemesi

Sosyal hayatta insanların hayal ve duygu yoğunluklarının anlaşılması, bu hususların çeşitli yollarla ifade edilmesi ve dillendirilmesi önemlidir. Hayatın her safhasıyla yakından alakalı olan sanatkârlar, zaman zaman gelişen tarihi olayların toplum üzerindeki etkisinin tercümanı olmak vazifesini üstlenmişlerdir. Bir sanat dalı olarak edebiyatı da toplum ile birlikte değerlendirdiğimizde, toplumun çeşitli olaylar ve durumlar karşısındaki duygu ve hayallerini ifade etmede önemli yere sahip olduğu görülecektir. Bu alanın bir parçası olan şiirler ise, duygu ve düşünceyi estetik yönden topluma haykırmaları açısından edebiyat ve sanat dünyasında apayrı bir yere sahiptirler. Mekân ve kent, bireyin kimliğinin oluşmasında oldukça etkilidir. Çünkü insan dünyayı anlamlandırırken yaşadığı mekân ile münasebet kurmayı da ihmal etmez. Osmanlı Devleti, değişen koşullar ve başka sebeplerden dolayı, içinde Irak’ın da olduğu birçok toprağını elinde tutmayı başaramamıştır. Bu kopuş, yıllarca bir aile gibi yaşamış halklarda derin teessürlere neden olmuş, geride birçok kırık kalp bırakmıştır. Çeşitli devlet görevleri gereği Irak topraklarında kalan Süleyman Nazif, duygusal bir bağ kurduğu Bağdat’ın anavatandan kopuşundan en çok ıstırap duyan kişilerden biridir. Devlet adamı ve aynı zamanda Servet-i Fünûn dönemi sanatçısı olan Nazif, Firak-ı Irak isimli eserinde yer verdiği Dicle ve Ben şiirinde, bu ayrılığın sebeplerinin neler olduğu, hem Anadolu hem de Bağdat tarafında nasıl bir sancıya ve feryada neden olduğunu dile getirmiştir. Bu çalışmada Süleyman Nazif, mensubu olduğu dönem ile birlikte ele alınacak, Firak-ı Irak isimli esere değinilecek, ardından da Dicle ve Ben şiiri tahlil edilmeye çalışılacaktır.

In social life, it is important to understand the intensity of people’s ideas and feelings, to explain these things in some ways and to talk about them.The artists, who are closely related to all stages of life, undertook the duty of being the interpreter of the effects of the historical events on people. When we consider literature together with the community as a branch of art, it will be seen that it has a very important place in expressing people’s feelings and ideas about a variety of events and situations. Poetry is a genre which has a distinct place in literature and art in representing the thoughts and emotions of the society in aesthetic terms. Space and the city are quite effective in the formation of an individual’s identity. Because when an individual gives a meaning to the world he/she does not avoid getting in touch with the living space. The Ottoman Empire, because of the changing conditions and other reasons, failed to possess many territories including Iraq. This rupture caused a deep grief for those people who lived together for many years like a family and left many broken hearts behind. Süleyman Nazif, who stayed in Iraq due to various government issues, was one of the people who suffered most from Baghdat’s rupture from the mother land, as he had established an emotional bound with it. As a statesman and also an artist of Servet-i Funun period Nazif, in Dicle ve Ben, the poem that appeared in his book Firak-ı Iraq expressed the reasons of this separation, how it caused a great pain and cry both in Anatolia and Baghdat. In this work, Süleyman Nazif will be discussed along with the period in which he was a member. His work entitled Firak-ı Iraq and his poem Dicle ve Ben will be analyzed as well.
