Türkçede 0-6 yaş çocuklarına öğretilmesi gereken, en sık kullanılan 1200 kelime

Araştırmanın amacı, Türkçede 0-6 yaş çocuklarına öğretilmesi gereken en sık kullanılan 1200 kelimeyi belirlemek ve bu kelimeleri üst kavram alanlarına göre listelemektir. Araştırmada betimleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. 1200 kelimeyi belirleyebilmek amacıyla elli dördü Türkçe, yirmi dördü yabancı olmak üzere yetmiş sekiz kaynak, doküman incelemesi tekniğine göre taranmış ve içerik analizine tabi tutulmuştur. Kaynaklar, çocukların yaşına ve kaynağın niteliğine göre altı gruba ayrılarak, her gruptan yöntem bölümünde açıklanan sıklık yüzdesine göre kelimeler alınmıştır. Türkçe kaynaklardaki toplam kelime sayısı 4.836.385 iken, yabancı kaynaklardaki toplam kelime sayısı 100.031.577'dir. Kelime havuzunda biriken 10.101 farklı kelime, yöntem bölümünde açıklanan ölçütlere göre önce 3000 kelimeye indirilmiş, sonra en sık kullanılan 1200 kelime 3000 kelime içinden seçilmiştir. Daha sonra seçilen kelimeler, 0-6 yaş çocukları için uzman görüşleriyle oluşturulmuş üst kavramlara göre listelenmiştir. Araştırmada ulaşılan sonuçlara göre, en sık kullanılan beş kelime, ev, büyük, el, almak ve annedir.

The purpose of this study is to determine 1200 words which are the most frequently used in Turkish necessary to be taught 0-6 year old children and to list these words according to the category of their concept. In this study, descriptive method is used. Seventy eight documents have been searched and content analysis has been applied them so as to find out 1200 words which are the most frequently used ones in Turkish. Words are picked up from each group according to the criterion explained in method section by classifying the researches into six groups according to children's age and quality of the documents used in the research. The number of words calculated in Turkish documents is about 4.836.385, whereas foreign documents are around 100.037.577. First of all, 10.101 different words accumulated in the corpus were eliminated to 3000 according to the criterion explained in method section. And then, 1200 words which are the most frequently used in Turkish have been chosen from 3000 words. Later on, they are listed according to the category of the concept formed by the experts' opinions and views for 0-6 year old children. According to the results obtained from the research; five words which are the most frequently used in Turkish are as follows; home, big, hand, to take, and mother.
