Turkey-Romania relations have begun a few months before from declaration of Republic of Turkey. Turkey which has applied the principle “Peace at home, peace in the world” in foreign policiy, has solved own problems in the first years at foundation of state. In this period Turkey has taken part in international peace study, has signed peace agreements. She has attended in the friendly relations and has make an effort to solve the problems in the world. Romanya which has own wide lands at the end of the World War I, has trailed an antirevizyonist policiy with the aim of protection of own lands. Either Turkey’s trail this policiy has bring two state near of each other. Romania which has joint in Laussanne Conference has supported Turkey at the matter of Capitulates. Embassies have opened in Ankara and Bucharest correspondingly after the Laussanne Conference. The relations between Turkey and Romania have developed direction of developments in Europe and The Pact of Balkan and two countries relations has continued in friendly between 1930-1938 years. Two countries has signed treaty of friendship and trade between 1930-1938 years and they have acted together opposite of developments in the world. Two countries have also tried hard for protection of status quo in Europe and Balkans. The first treaty has been signed in 1929 between Turkey and Romania and collaborate has been done in political and economic field until 1938. The visits have been realized for this aim mutually. Friendship and trade treaties have been signed between two countries. in the 17 October 1933, during the visit to Ankara Titulescu who has the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania, has been signed friendship, nonagression and arbitrator agreement with Turkey. Turkey and Romania have taken part in the Pact of Balkan when established in 9 February 1934. Romania has support to Turkey at the Treaty of Montreux.
