Orff yaklaşimi ile yapilan okul öncesi müzik eğitiminin öğrencilerin sosyal becerilerinin gelişimine etkileri

Bu araştırmanın amacı, Orff yaklaşımı ile yapılan okul öncesi müzik eğitiminin öğrencilerin sosyal becerilerinin gelişimine etkilerinin incelenmesidir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, 2009-2010 eğitim- öğretim yılında Samsun ili, Canik Yavuz Selim Yatılı İlköğretim Bölge Okulu, okul öncesi 6 yaş grubu öğrencileri arasında deney ve kontrol grupları için rasgele seçilen 40 kişi oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada Avcıoğlu (2005) tarafından geliştirilen „Sosyal Becerileri Değerlendirme Ölçeği (4-6 yaş)‟ın “Kişiler Arası İletişim Becerileri, Akran Baskısı İle Başa Çıkma Becerileri, Sözel Açıklama Becerileri, Kendini Kontrol Etme Becerileri, Hedef Belirleme Becerileri, Dinleme Becerileri, Görevleri Tamamlama Becerileri, Sonuçları Kabul Etme Becerileri” başlıkları altındaki dokuz alt ölçeği alınarak, 40 öğrencinin her biri için müzik eğitimi öncesi ve sonrasında çocukların okul öncesi öğretmenleri tarafından doldurulmuştur. Uygulanan ön test aşamasından sonra deney grubu öğrencileri ile 10 hafta boyunca; Pazartesi ve Çarşamba günleri 60‟ar dakika, Orff Schulwerk yaklaşımı ile okul öncesi müzik, hareket ve dans eğitimi verilmiştir. Kontrol grubunu oluşturan öğrencilere müzik eğitimi verilmemiş, bu öğrenciler okuldaki genel eğitimlerine devam etmişlerdir. Tüm çalışmaların sonunda, deney ve kontrol grupları için son testler uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin işlenmesi sonucunda; Orff Schulwerk yaklaşımı ile verilen okul öncesi müzik eğitiminin, bu eğitimin verilmediği okul öncesi 6 yaş grubu çocuklara göre “Kişiler Arası İletişim, Kızgınlık Davranışlarını Kontrol Etme ve Değişikliklere Uyum Sağlama, Sözel Açıklama, Amaç Oluşturma, Görevleri Tamamlama Becerileri” sosyal becerilerinin daha fazla geliştikleri saptanmış ve elde edilen sonuçlara dayanarak çeşitli önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

The aim of this research is to investigate the influences of Orff preschool music education approach on the improvement of social skills of students. 40 students which were selected randomly as control and experiment groups from Canik Yavuz Selim Regional Primary Boarding School in the academic year of 2009-2010 made up the search group of this study. The evaluation of Social Skills (Between the Ages of 4-6) was used to collect data which was prepared and improved by Avcıoğlu (2005). The sub-tests of the evaluation are “ The Skills of Communication Among People, The Skills of Anger Management and Adaption to The Changes, The Skills of Management of Coequals‟ Pressure, The Skills of Oral Expressions, The Skills of Self Control, The Skills of Creating a Target, Listenning Skills, The Skills of Finishing The Project”. The evaluations are applied by the preschool teachers of 40 students before and after the Orff Schulwerk Preschool Music Education Approach. After the pre-test process, elementary music, movement and dance education based on the Orff Schulwerk Preschool Music Education Approach was applied for 60 minutes, on each Monday and Wednesdays for 10 weeks to the experiment group. The elementary music movement and dance education based on the Orff Schulwerk Preschool Music Education Approach was not applied to the control group, the continued their usual courses. After all music lessons, post-tests were applied for the experiment and control group by their own teachers. Analizing the datum; it was observed that the children which were given the Orff Schulwerk preschool music education approach had improved their “The Skills of Communication Among People, The Skills of Anger Management and Adaption to The Changes, The Skills of Oral Expressions, Creating a Target, The Skills of Finishing The Project” comparing to the children that didn‟t take the Orff Schulwerk preschool music education approach. Suggestions were given according to the results.
