Mütercimi belirsiz bir şeyh-i san’ân mesnevisi

İlk defa Ferîdüddîn Attâr’ın Mantıku’t-tayr adlı Farsça eserinde yer alan Şeyh-i San’ân hikâyesi, söz konusu eserin tercümesi yoluyla XIV. yüzyılda Anadolu sahası Türk edebiyatına geçmiştir. Sonraki yüzyıllarda Mantıku’t-tayr’ın farklı tercümeleriyle yeniden yazılan bu hikâye XIII veya XIV. yüzyıl şairi Ahmedî ve XVI. yüzyıl şairi Mostarlı Ziyâ’î tarafından müstakil bir hikâye olarak kaleme alınmıştır. Bahsi geçen bu hikâyenin Türkçe versiyonlarından bazıları birkaç bilimsel çalışmaya konu olmuştur. Bu çalışmada ise bu hikâyenin, yaptığımız literatür taramasına göre henüz tespit edilip üzerinde durulmayan yeni bir Türkçe metni üzerinde durulacaktır. Bu bağlamda öncelikle, Şeyh-i San’ân hikâyesi ve bu hikâyenin klâsik Türk edebiyatındaki seyrine kısaca değinilecektir. Ardından ismi belirsiz bir şair tarafından Attâr’ın metni esas alınarak yazılan bu hikâyenin muhtelif yönlerine işaret edilerek bir incelemesi yapılacaktır. Makalenin sonunda ise hikâyenin çevriyazılı metnine yer verilecektir.

The story of Shaykh-i San’ân which is placed for the first time in Mantık al-tayr written by Ferîdüddîn Attâr, started to take place in the Anatolian Turkish literature at the begining of the XIV. century as a result of the translation of the Mantık al-tayr. Although in the next centuries the story is rewrited through the other translations of the Mantık al-tayr, it had also been written separately by XIII or XIV. century poet Ahmedî and Ziyâ’î from Mostar. Most of the Turkish versions of the story has been examined as a subject in the some academic studies. In this article, a new Turkish version of this story which has not analysed in any academic studies yet –of course as far as we have seen- will be presented. In this context, firstly it will be taken a glance at the story of the Shaykh-i San’ân and its development in the classical Turkish literature; and then, this new Turkish version of the story which had been written by unknown poet based on Attar’s text, will be analysed by emphasizing to its important features. In the end of the article, there will be the Latinized text of this verison.
