Mâtemin keyfini çıkarmak: klasik türk şiirinde ölümlere duyulan sevinçler

Ölüm konusu insan üzerindeki büyük etkisinden dolayı bütün dünya edebiyatlarında ele alınmıştır. Ölen kişilerin ardından duyulan üzüntünün anlatıldığı şiirler İslam öncesi Türk şiirinde sagu, halk şiirinde ağıt, klasik Türk şiirinde ise mersiye adını alır. Bu şiirlerin tamamında ölüm hadisesindeki hüzün anlatılırken ölen kişinin de iyilikleri dile getirilir. Bu durum aynı zamanda İslamî anlayışın da gereğidir. Klasik Türk şiirinde az da olsa bu anlayışın dışında yazılmış şiirler de vardır. 16. asırdan 19. asrın sonuna kadar bazı şairlerce çoğu devlet görevlisi kişilerin ölümlerinden duyulan sevinç anlatılmıştır. Yerilen kişilerin ölümünün müjdeli bir haber olarak yorumlandığı bu şiirlerde ölenlerin kötü yönlerine, olumsuz özelliklerine yer verilmiştir. Bazı şairler beddua edip sövdükleri bu kişilerin cehennemlik olduklarını vurgulamışlardır. Bu yönüyle söz konusu şiirler hiciv edebiyatımızın farklı ve çarpıcı örnekleri olarak dikkate değerlerdir.

Because of having a great impact on human being, the death is a subject dealt in the literary texts all over the world. Poems in which a short of sadness is expressed in the wake of the dead are named as "sagu" in the pre-İslamic Turkish poetry, as "ağıt" in the folk poetry and as "mersiye" in the classical Turkish poetry. In all of these poetries a lament stemed from the death is narrated and the goodnesses of the dead are reflected as well. It is by the nature of Islamic belief and consideration. Yet, there are also a few poems which are written in a way that makes them different. This kind of poems were published from 16th century to 19th century by some poets and it was narrated in those poems that a pleasure resulted from the death of the goverment officials. In the poems, in which the death of one who is criticised by the poet is interpreted as precursory news, the bad features of the dead is touched on. Some poets thought that those was imprecated and reviled will go to the hell. In this context, such poetries are remarkable as different and impressive examples of the literature of satire.
