Hayriyye-i nābī’de aktarılan değerler

Değer, bir toplumun çoğunluğu tarafından doğru ve gerekli olduğu kabul edilen ortak düşünce, temel ahlakî ilke ya da inançlar sistemidir. Milleti millet yapan ve onu diğer milletlerden ayıran unsurların başında o milletin sahip olduğu değerler gelir. Milletler, millet olma vasfını kaybetmemek için sahip oldukları değerleri bir sonraki nesle aktarma yoluna bakarlar. Bu aktarımı başaramadıkları takdirde kültürel yozlaşma dediğimiz milletin kendine ait toplumsal ve kültürel değerlerin yıpranması, önemini kaybetmesi süreci başlar. Kültürel değerleri yıpranmış veya yok olmuş bir milletin kendi varlık, birlik, işleyiş ve devamını sağlaması ve sürdürmesi imkânsız hâle gelir. Değerleri bireylere aktarma yolu eğitimden geçer. Bundan dolayıdır ki değerler eğitimi, son yıllarda üzerinde önemle durulan konulardan biri olmaya başladı. Özellikle ülkemizde küreselleşme ile birlikte yaşanan değer bunalımları ve toplumsal hayattaki olumsuzluklar değer eğitimini kaçınılmaz kılmıştır. Bu araştırmada, bir milletin öz değerlerinin, o millete ait menkıbelerde, masallarda, hikâyelerde, türkülerde ve tarihsel kimliği olan şairlerde bulunabileceği düşüncesinden hareketle, Türk edebiyatının güçlü şahsiyetlerinden biri olan Nabi’nin Hayriyye adlı eseri ele alınmış ve bu eserde Nabi’nin oğluna ve onun şahsında tüm gençlere aktarmaya çalıştığı değerler tespit edilmiştir. Eserin ele alınma nedeni düşünüldüğünde, günümüzde olduğu gibi o dönemde de toplumda buhranların belirmesi, bazı sorunların baş göstermesi, sosyal ilişkilerde ve ahlaki davranışlarda şikâyetlerin ortaya çıkması gösterilebilir. Eserin kaleme alındığı döneme bakıldığında Osmanlı devletinin içte ve dışta çeşitli problemlerle uğraştığı ülkenin sosyal, siyasal ve ekonomik sıkıntılar içinde bulunduğu ve bunun neticesinde de bazı değerlerin önemini yitirdiği açıkça gözlenmektedir. Nabi yaşadığı dönemde bu değer erozyonuna şahit olmuş olacak ki toplumun sahip olduğu değerleri gençlere tekrar hatırlatma ihtiyacı hissetmiş ve Hayriyye isimli eserini kaleme almıştır. Nabi’nin Hayriyye isimli eserinde aktarılan değerlerin tespitine yönelik olan bu araştırma, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman incelemesi ile yapılmıştır.

Value is the system of common idea, basic moral principle or beliefs that accepted as truth and it is considered necessary by majority of society. Main elements of what makes nation a nation and differ from other nations are the values of that nation. Nations try to find a way to transfer the values they possess to next generations to retain the attribute of being a nation. When this transfer is failed, nations’ social and cultural values wear down and depreciation process called cultural degeneration gets started. It would be impossible for the nation to sustain its existence, union and operations once its’ values are destroyed or worn out. Education is the way to transfer the values to individuals. Because of that, education of the values started to become one of the most important issues in recent years. Especially in our country, globalization initiated depression of the values and problems in life make education of the values inevitable. In this study, starting with the idea of characteristic values of the nations can be found in nations’ legends, tales, stories, songs and poets with a historical identity, one of the powerful figures of Turkey, Nabis’ Hayriyye is reviewed and the values that mentioned in this book has been determined which Nabi seeks to transfer to his son and all generations. The aim of consideration of this book is the similarities of problems in society, complaints about moral behaviors and social-relationships between the time period of Nabi and today. The period of this book showed that Ottoman had to deal with internal and external problems, the country was in economic, political and social difficulties and because of these problems, some of the values had lost their importance. Nabi , witnessed these problems in his lifetime and felt the necessity to remind the values of society again to young people and wrote his work, named Hayriyye. This study, determination of values transformed from Hayriyye, literary work of Nabi, was done with the qualitative research method of document analysis.
