Halide nusret zorlutuna’nın romanlarını kronotopik okuma

Zaman - uzam şeklinde çevirebileceğimiz kronotop kavramı, Michael Bakhtin tarafından ortaya atılmıştır. Romanda her zamanın mekâna temellük ettiği düşüncesini ifade eden kronotop, Türk romanını anlamak açısından önemli bir imkân sunar. Osmanlı‟nın yıkılış Cumhuriyet‟in doğuş sürecinde yaşamış kadın yazarlardan Halide Nusret Zorlutuna‟nın romanları tanıklık ettiği tarihi süreci içerir. Bu sebeple onun romanlarında mekân çoğu zaman tarihi, zaman zaman psikolojik, kozmik, biyografik zamanı beraberinde getirir. Onun romanları üzerinden yapılacak bir kronotopik inceleme, hem romanlardaki karmaşık olay örgüsü ve karakterleri anlamayı kolaylaştıracak hem de mekân üzerinden dönemin tarihi izlerini, yazarın biyografisini, psikolojik ve kozmik zamanı okumayı sağlayacaktır.

The term Chronotope, which we may interpret as time -space, was put forward by Michael Bakhtin. Chronotope, which in the novel expresses the idea that every time seizes space, offers an important opportunity to understand Turkish novel. Being among the authors lived in the period between the collapse of the Ottoman and the emergence of the Republic, Halide Nusret Zorlutuna‟s novels include the period they witnessed. Hence, the space or location in her novels implies psychological, cosmic, and biographic time. A chronotopic study of her novels would not only facilitate comprehension of complex pattern of events in her novels, but also provide a chance to read historical traces, the biography of the author, psychological and cosmic time through space or location.
