Almanca öğretiminde yazinsal metin çevirisinin yeri

Geçen yılların aksine, yabancı dil dersinde yazınsal metin kullanımı giderek daha çok dilbilimci tarafından desteklenmektedir. Dillerin tüm yapısal ve kullanımsal özelliklerini barındıran bu metinler, öğrenen grubuna ve öğrenilen konuya uygun seçilirse, öğretim sürecini olumlu etkileyebilir. Nitel araştırma yönteminin benimsendiği bu çalışmanın amacı, ders ortamında yazınsal metin çevirisi yaparak, kaynak dil ve erek dilde yapısal ve kullanımsal dil bilinci oluşturmaktır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda çalışmada, Aha (1B) adlı ders kitabında emir kipinin işlendiği bölüm seçilerek, Uwe Timm’in “Erziehung” adlı şiiri ders kitabının yanında ders ortamına çeviri alıştırması olarak getirilmiştir. Şiir, Almancadan Türkçeye çevrilmiş, yapısal ve kullanımsal özellikleri saptanmıştır. Çalışmada, Yabancı dil öğretiminde yazınsal metinlerden yapılan eğitsel çeviri alıştırmalarının öğretim aracı olarak kullanılmasının ne gibi katkılar sağlayacağı araştırılmıştır. Kafkas Üniversitesi İngiliz Dili Edebiyatı Bölümü 3. Sınıf öğrencileri ile yapılan uygulamalı ders etkinlikleri sonunda, Almanca öğretiminde yazınsal metinlerden yapılan çeviri alıştırmalarının öğrenenlerin kelime dağarcığını zenginleştirdiği ve metinde geçen kelimelerin konu bağlamındaki anlamlarının daha kolay öğrenildiği gözlenmiştir. Yazınsal metin çevirisi aracılığı ile öğrenenler, her iki dilin ortak ve farklı özelliklerini tespit edebilmiştir. Saptanan bu özellikler vasıtasıyla karşılıklı dillerde yapısal bilincin oluştuğu görülmüştür. Bu bilinç öğrenenlerin erek dildeki kullanım becerilerini olumlu yönde geliştirmiştir.

Contrary last years, using literary texts in foreign language classes are supported increasingly by more linguists. If these texts that have all structural and pragmatic properties of languages are chosen properly, for students groups and the subjects learned, they can influence teaching process positively. The aim of this study adopted a qualitative research method is to create awareness of language in source and target language by doing translation of literary text in classrooms. In line with this purpose in the study, the section studied the imperatives was chosen in the book named AHA (1B). In this study, since the textbook doesn’t include any literary texts, the book, Erziehung of Uwe Timm has been used for a translation exercise during the lesson. The entire of poem written in the imperatives has been translated from German to Turkish and structural properties have been characterized. It has been searched that how a contribution using of the educational translation exercise that made of literary texts as a teaching tool will make in German teaching. At the end of the practical lessons in the department of English Language and literature at Kafkas University, it has been seen that the translation exercise made from literary texts in German teaching has enriched learner’s thesaurus and structural awareness has occurred in reciprocal languages. Through translation of literary text, learners could have made firm the common and different features of the both languages. It has been seen that through these identified features, structural consciousness has been come into existence in the mutual languages. This consciousness has improved the usage abilities of learners in target language positively.
