Bolu’daki (1838-1850) aile yapısı

Bu çalışmada, 1838-1850 yılları arası Bolu Şer'iye Sicil Tereke Kayıtlarına göre Bolu ailesinin yapısı analiz edilmiştir. Bu dönemde Bolu ailesinde kişi ve çocuk sayısına göre çekirdek aile olduğunu göstermektedir. Yapılan evliliklere göre Bolu ailesinde tek eşliliğin tercih edildiğini, çok eşli evliliğin tercih edilmediği görülmüştür.

In this study, the structure of a typical Bolu family between the years of 1838 to 1850 has been investigated according to Bolu registration books. The findings show that Bolu family was a core family in nature in this period with respect to the number of children and mature people within the family. Furthermore, it iterates the fact that monogamy was widespread and preferred then in Bolu families rather than polygamy.
