Ergenlerde bağlanma stilleri ve yalnızlık arasındaki ilişki

Bu araştırmanın amacı ergenlerin bağlanma stilleri ile yalnızlıkları arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemek ve bağlanma stillerinin ergenlerdeki yalnızlığı açıklama gücünü ortaya koymaktır. A raştırmanın örneklemi, Konya ili merkez ilçelerinde ortaöğretime devam eden 581 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemi, öğrenim görmekte olan öğrenciler arasından tesadüfi olarak seçilmiştir. Araştırma örneklemini oluşturan öğrencilerin 371'i kız (%63.9) ve 210'u erkek (% 36.1) öğrencidir. Veri toplama aracı olarak İlişki Ölçekleri Anketi ve Ucla Yalnızlık Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Ergenlerin bağlanma stilleri ve yalnızlıkları arasındaki pozitif veya negatif ilişkinin ortaya konulmasında Pearson momentler çarpımı korelasyon tekniği kullanılmıştır. Bağlanma stillerinin ergenlerin yalnızlıklarını anlamlı düzeyde açıklayıp açıklamadığı ise regresyon analizi ile test edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda güvenli bağlanma stili ile yalnızlık arasında negatif yönlü anlamlı bir ilişki, korkulu bağlanma stili ile yalnızlık arasında pozitif yönlü anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Bağlanma stillerinden güvenli bağlanma stili yalnızlığı önemli düzeyde açıkladığı bulunmuştur.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between adolescents' attachment styles and their loneliness and reveal the power of attachment styles to explain loneliness in adolescents. The sample of the study consists of 581 students who attend secondary education schools in the city of Konya. The sample of the study was selected randomly from among the students. 371 (63.9%) of the students who constitute the sample of the study are girls whereas 210 (36.1%) of them are boys. The Relationship Scales Questionnaire and UCLA Loneliness Scale were used as the data collection tools. Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient technique was used to reveal the positive or negative relationship between adolescents' attachment styles and their loneliness. Whether attachment styles explained adolescents' loneliness in a significant level or not was tested using regression analysis. As a result of the study, a negative relationship was determined between the secure attachment style and loneliness whereas a positive relationship was found between the anxious attachment style and loneliness. It was concluded that the of the attachment styles, the secure attachment style explained loneliness on a significant level.
