Each of the scale is comprised of 13 items, and was prepared as 5 likert type. While Cronbach alpha internal consistency coefficient of green chemistry awareness scale was 0.76, Cronbach alpha internal consistency coefficient of green chemistry behaviour scale was found as 0.72. In meaningfulness tests between the groups, α = .05 meaningfulness level was taken as the basis. The SPSS-17 program was used for data analyses. The data were analyzed by means of descriptive statistical techniques and irrespective sample taking t-test technique. According to research results, it was found out that the teacher candidates had the opinion at “I totally agree” level in green chemistry awareness scale, and at “I often agree” level in green chemistry behaviour scale.
