çağdaş uygur edebiyatında bir hikâye: çenıkış

Siir merkezli gelisen Uygur edebiyatında hikâye türü ancak 1930’lu yıllarda ortaya çıkmıs, 1940’lı yıllarda gelismeye devam etmis, 1950’li yıllarda oldukça yüksek bir seviyeye ulasmıstır. Yazar Zunun Kadiri’nin 1955 yılında kaleme aldığı “Çenıkıs” hikayesi Uygur hikayeciliğinin 1950’li yıllarda ulastığı seviyeyi temsil edebilecek niteliktedir. 1950’li yıllar Çin’de ve Doğu Türkistan’da komünist partinin iktidarda olduğu, komünist rejimin yerlestiği, komünizm ideolojisinin hakim olduğu, sosyalist düzenin kurulduğu dönemdir. Daha önce Milliyetçi Çin yönetiminin ağır baskı ve zulmü altında ezilen, sömürülen Uygur halkı, tüm umudunu ezilen milletlere özgürlük, esitlik vaadiyle iktidara gelen komünistlere bağlamıstı. Yazar böyle bir atmosferde “Çenıkıs” hikâyesini yazarak toplumda yasanan sosyal değisiklikleri yansıtmaya çalısmıstır. Hikayede son derece tembel, uyusuk, vurdumduymaz, bilinçsiz karakter özelliğine sahip Metniyaz’ın yeni rejim ve yeni sosyal kosullar altında nasıl değiserek aktif, topluma yararlı, toplumsal bilince sahip bir kisiye dönüstüğü anlatılmaktadır. Yazar bu tavrıyla topluma hakim olan sosyalist düzene destek vermistir.

In the poetry-dominated Uyghur literature, story as a genre emerged as late as 1930s, continued to develop through 1940s, and reached its height in 1950s. Sununi Kadri’s 1955 story “Chenıkısh” has the quality to indicate the level that Uygur literature reached at the day. 1950s is the decade in which the communist party was in power in China and East Turkestan. In this period the communist regime gained a foothold and the communist ideology prevailed in the area, and the decade witnessed the foundation of the socialist order. Formerly suffered under the repression and the tyranny of the nationalist Chinese administration, the Uyghur people put their faith on the communists, who came to power with the promise of freedom and equality to the repressed nationalities. In this kind of atmosphere, by composing the “Chenıkısh” story, the writer intends to reflect the changes in the society. Throughout the story, it is narrated how an extremely lazy, numb, impervious, senseless Metniyaz character changes into someone who is active, someone who is beneficial to the public, and someone who has the social consciousness under the new regime and the new social conditions. With this attitude the writer identifies the socialist order that dominated the society.
