Türkiye’de kentleşme ve sokakta çalışan çocuklar sorununa sosyolojik bir bakış

Bu makale Türkiye'deki önemli toplumsal sorunlardan birisi olan "sokakta çalışan çocuklar" konusunu ele almakta ve gerek çocuk sağlığı ve gerekse çalışma hayatı açısından getirdiği sorunları irdelemektedir. Bu sorunun sosyolojik analizi için bu çalışma (1) yöntem açısından tanımlanması ve "çalışan çocuk emeği" gibi benzer kavramlardan ayrımlaşması, (2) sorunun nedenlerinin ortaya çıkarılması (3) bu sorunun çözümü için sosyal politikalara yol gösterecek makro ve mikro düzeyde çözüm önerileri sunmaktadır.

This study handles the problem of "street working children" which is one of the major issues in Turkey and investigates it in terms of child health as well as the working life of children. To analyze this problem sociologically, this study offers (1) the sociological definition of the problem and distinction from other similar concepts like "the labor of working children, (2) the clarification of the causes of this problem, (3) suggestions in micro as well as macro levels which can guide social policies for the solution of the problem.
