Otel işletmelerinde yenilikçi hizmetler

Bu çalışma, otel işletmelerinde uygulanan yenilikçi (innovative) hizmetlerin tespitine yöneliktir. Araştırmanın evrenini, Türkiye’de faaliyet gösteren tüm beş yıldızlı otel işletmeleri oluşturmaktadır. Veriler anket aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda otel işletmelerinin pek çok yenilikçi hizmeti uyguladıkları ortaya çıkmıştır. Ayrıca; evcil hayvan kabulü, çocuklara yönelik hizmet verme ve kulüp üyeliği hizmeti verme ile ilgili konularda, zincir oteller ve franchise zinciri altındaki otellerin, bağımsız ve kiralık otellere göre daha hassas davrandıkları belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca, sürekli açık olan otel işletmelerinin, mevsimlik otel işletmelerine göre internet hizmeti, çocuklarla ilgili hizmetler, kulüp üyeliği ve interaktif tv hizmetlerine daha fazla önem verdikleri belirlenmiştir.

Sustainable tourism includes social and cultural liability, economic productivity and ecological sensibility in its all processes. The existence and sustainability of tourism industry can only become true, through the naturel, social and cultural values of regional and local areas with maintainable responsibility, that are the sources of the tourism.The present study is aimed to determine innovative services applied in hotels. The universe of the study contains all active five-star hotels in Turkey. Data was collected by using a questionnaire. At the end of the study, hotel firms were found to apply many innovative services. Additionally, chain hotels and franchise hotels were found to be more sensitive to accept pets, to provide services to children and to provide club programs than independent and renter-operated hotels. Moreover, hotels that open the whole year were found to provide more services such as internet, services to the children, interactive TV and club subscription than seasonal hotels.
