Osmanlı toplum hayatında vakıflar önemli bir yere sahipti. Osmanlı dönemindeki vakıf çeşitlerinden biri de para vakıflarıydı. Hayırsever kişiler, nakit paralarını, mescit cami gibi hayır eserleri ile bu kurumlardaki imam ve hatip gibi görevlilerin maaşlarına vakfetmişlerdir. Vakfe dilen nakit paranın işletilmesinden elde edilen gelirler, vakfiye şartlarına uygun olarak mütevelli tarafından hayır işlerine harcanmıştır.XIX.yüzyılda para vakıflarında artış meydana gelmiştir. Başkent İstanbul ve Anadolu’da birçok şehir ve kasabada da para vakıfları tesis edilmiştir.

Foundations had an important place in the Ottoman society life.One of the foundation was monetary foundations in the Ottoman period. Philanthropic persons had consecrated their cash money to charity foundations like as mosque and masjids and the salary of imam and preacher on duty. Obtained incomes endowment cash money operated spent to charity by trustee accor ding to the condition mentioned in the waqf. There had been an increase on the monetary foundations in XIX’th century. Monetary foundations were established in a lot of cities and towns in Istanbul and Anatolia. Monetary foundations were established in Kadınhanı according to general customary in Ottoman society too.Kadınhanı was the centre of township of Saidili which was connected to Konya. Waqfiya of monetary foundatios were registered in Konya Religious Court because of Kadınhanı connected to Konya by judicial. The incomes of monetary foundations was spent to repairing of mosques and masjids, salary of deputy in this foundations. Monetary foundations which was established in the centre of Kadınhanı and it’s villages, registered in Konya Religi ous Court was evaluated according to the Register of Konya Religious Court.
