Games have an important place in cognitive, affective and psychmotor development of children. In terms of education, using enjoyable games as a supporter, makes subject more attractive and it becomes easy to reach goals and learning becomes more permanent. Concurrently, games may contribute to childrens affective skills like respecting to others, showing sympathy and tolerance. While playing games children may do some activities that reguires muscular coordination. And this also helps their development of psychmotor skills.The aim of this study is to adapt an old Turkish game called Müngüz Müngüz that takes place in ‘’ Dîvânu Lugati’t Turk’’ into subjects of social sciences. In accordance with this purpose, after making a short brief about the place of games in education and game called Müngüz Müngüz, sample practises, results and suggestions mentioned. Game called Müngüz Müngüz adapted by paying regard to the original form of with the available information in ‘Dîvânu Lugati’t Turk’. Study has a qualitative feature and data collected by literarure review and analysing document.
