Kutadgu Bilig, which is the co-production of Turk-Islam milieu in the eleventh century, Karahanid period, is the first poetical book of government belongs to Turkish-Islamic culture. There are chronologically, from the aspect of both philosophical information and imaginative style, different and original writings in Kutadgu Bilig. That precious work, as well as being the first production of Turkish-Islamic literature, must been exemined not only from the aspect of Turkish Literature History but also Turkish sociology, Turkish cultural history, and Turkish government philosophy. Although most of books of government are a syntheses of Persian politic tradition and Islamic principles in Persia-Muslim geography, Kutadgu Bilig mostly includes Turkish government and politic tradition. Thus, it is different and original than the others. Kutadgu Bilig shows us that a more or less remaining society and state understanding lives although many changes on geography, climate, religion, culture, and civilization during the thousand of year Turkish history.
