Polislerde iş stresi algısının kişisel ve göreve bağlı bazı değişkenlere göre karsılaştırılması

Bu çalısmada polislerin is stresi algısının çesitli kisisel ve isle ilgili bazı degiskenlere göre farklılasıp farklılasmadıgı incelenmistir. Çalısmanın örneklemini Adana Emniyet Müdürlügü'ndeki tüm birimlerde görev yapan polislerden 677'si polis memuru ve 98'i amir olmak üzere toplam 775 polis olusturmustur. Örneklemde yer alan polislerin 707'si erkek, 68'i kadındır. Veriler, s Stresi Ölçegi ve arastırma amacı dogrultusunda hazırlanan bilgi formu ile toplanmıstır. Analizler t testi ve tek yönlü varyans analizi teknigi ile yapılmıstır. Sonuçta; adli birimde çalısan polislerin, idari birimde çalısanlardan; meslekte dört yıl ve daha az deneyime sahip olanların, 5-19 yıl arasında deneyime sahip olanlardan; alınan toplam egitim süresi 11-13 yıl arasında olanların, egitim süresi 14 yıl ve daha fazla olanlardan; polis memurlarının, amirlerden ve esi bir iste çalısmayanların, esi bir iste çalısanlardan daha yüksek is stresine sahip oldukları bulgusuna ulasılmıstır. Bunun yanında polislerin cinsiyet, medeni durum ve yetistikleri yerlesim birimine göre is stresi algılarının farklılasmadıgı saptanmıstır.

In this study, police officers' perception of the job stress was investigated to find out if there were significant differences in terms of some personal and work related variables. The sample of the study consisted of total 775 police officers who work at the Adana Police Department. 677 of them were police officers and 98 of them were police supervisors, 707 of them were male and 68 were female. Data were collected by using "Work Stress Scale" and personal information form developed in the direction of aims of the study. Data were analyzed by using t test and one way ANOVA. Findings indicated that there were significant differences on work stress perception between police officers who work at the judicial and administrative departments in favor of judicial department; between four years and belove experienced and 5-19 years experienced in favor of four years and belove experienced; between total education year completed 11-13 years and 14 years and above in favor of 11-13 years; between police officers and police supervisors in favor of police officers; and between whose wives work and don't work in favor of whose wife work. However, it was found that there were no significant differences on the perception of job stress of police officers in terms of gender, marital status and the places where they grown up.
