Adana ilinde çalısan polislerin tükenmişlik düzeylerinin bazı değişkenler açısından incelenmesi

Bu çalısmanın amacı, Adana ilinde çalısan polislerin tükenmislik düzeylerini belirleyerek bazı demografik degiskenler (yas, cinsiyet, medeni durum, ögrenim durumu, rütbe, görev yaptıkları sube, mesleki kıdem, günlük çalısma sistemi, alınan takdir ve taltif, ekonomik durumlarını algılama) açısından farklılasıp farklılasmadıgına bakmaktır. Çalısmaya 2004 yılında Adana Emniyet Müdürlügü ve Kemal Serhadlı Polis Meslek Yüksek Okulu'nda çalısan, kolay ulasılabilir örnekleme yöntemiyle seçilmis 355 polis katılmıstır. Tükenmislik düzeylerini belirlemek için "Maslach Tükenmislik Ölçegi" ve kisisel bilgiler için de "Kisisel Bilgi Formu" kullanılmıstır. Verilerin analizi için tek yönlü varyans analizi uygulanmıstır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda, örnekleme giren polislerin duygusal tükenmislik düzeyinin, cinsiyet, görev yapılan sube ve ekonomik durumlarını algılamalarına; duyarsızlasma düzeyinin cinsiyet, görev yapılan sube, günlük çalısma sistemi, mesleki kıdem ve ekonomik durumlarını algılamalarına; kisisel basarı duygusunda azalma düzeyinin ise yas, cinsiyet, takdir, taltif, görev yapılan sube ve mesleki kıdeme göre farklılık gösterdigi saptanmıstır. Rütbe, medeni durum, ögrenim durumuna göre tükenmislik düzeyleri arasında anlamlı fark saptanmamıstır.

The main purpose of this study, the burnout levels of police working in Adana were examined in relation to the age; sex; marriage; their educational levels; rank; the departments they work; their time of service the areas graduated; their time of daily working; appreciation and gratifying they took; perception of economical levels. This study is conducted on 355 police in Adana Police Department and Kemal Serhadlı Police Vocation School. The information concerning the burnout levels of police, which served as the dependent variable in this study, was collected by using Maslach Burnout Scale. The information concerning the independent variables was collected through Personel nformation Form. Oneway analysis of variance (ANOVA) was conducted for analysis of data. The results of study, significant differences were found between emotional exhaustion levels of police with sex, the departments they work, perception of economical levels; between depersonalizasyon levels of police with sex, the departments they work, their time of daily working, their time of service the areas graduated, perception of economical levels; between personal accomplishment levels of police with age, sex, the departments they work, their time of service the areas graduated, appreciation and gratifying they take. On the other hand, significant differences were no found with marriage, their educational levels, rank.
