Risk altındaki çocukların aile yapıları ve suça yönelimleri (mersin ili örneği)

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Mersin ilinde sokakta yaşayan ve çalışan çocukların suç ve suçlulukla ilgili durumlarının aile yapıları ile ilişkilerinin incelenmesidir. Risk altında oldukları bilinen, sokakta yaşayan ve çalışan çocuklarda görülen şiddet eğilimlerinin nedenleri üzerine dikkat çekilmeye çalışılmıştır. Mersin ili özellikle son otuz yıllık bir süre içerisinde çeşitli sosyo-ekonomik ve sosyal nedenlerle yoğun olarak göç almış, bunun sonucu olarak Mersin'de ekonomik, kültürel, sosyal problemlerin yaşanması kaçınılmaz hâle gelmiştir. Bu durumdan en fazla etkilenen toplumsal kurum "aile" olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Hızlı yaşanan toplumsal değişim ve dönüşümler ailelerin yaşam koşullarını da değiştirmektedir. Ailelerin yanı sıra özellikle çocuklar bu değişimden kaçınılmaz olarak etkilenmektedir. Araştırma, Mersin ilinde göçle kurulmuş mahallelerde yaşayan/okuyan ve genellikle sokakta çalışan 510 çocuk üzerinde yüz yüze görüşülerek ve anket uygulanarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre aile diğer etmenlerle birlikte çocuğun suça yöneliminde önemli bir yer tutmaktadır. Ailenin yapısı, eğitim düzeyi ve ekonomik koşulları çocuğun suça yönelmesinde etkili olmaktadır.

Family Structure And Tentation of Children Under Risk (Example Of Mersin). The aim of this study is to examine the relation between the situation of crime and criminality and, the family structure of the children who live and work in the streets. I tried to draw attention on reasons of propensity for violence which is seen on children who live and work in the streets and known as under risk. Because of various socioeconomic and social reasons, Mersin had an extreme migration in the last thirty years. As a result of this, it has become inevitable to have economic, cultural and social problems. The family emerges as the most affected social structure. The rapid social upheavals and transformations also change the living conditions of the families. As well as the families, especially, the children are inevitably affected of these changes. The research has done with 510 children who live/study in the vicinities of immigrants and, generally work in the streets, by face to face interviews and questionnaire. According to the results of the research, family, with the other factors, has an important place in a child’s tendency to commit a crime. The family’s structure, education degree and, economic situation is effective on a child’s tendency to commit a crime.
