Okul öncesi öğretmenliği öğrencilerinin öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutumları

Bu araştırmanın amacı Okulöncesi Öğretmenliğini tercih eden öğrencilerin bu mesleği tercih etmesinde etkili olan faktörlerin incelenmesidir. Tarama modeli kullanarak yapılan araştırmada Börü (2006) tarafından geliştirilen "Öğretmenlik Mesleği Tutum Ölçeği" Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen Üniversitesi okul öncesi öğretmenliği 1. sınıflarda öğrenim gören 170 öğrenciye uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgularda, öğrencilerin öğretmenlik mesleğini tercihleri ölçeğin alt boyutları olan bilinç, güvence, ideal, etkilenme ve toplam faktörleri doğrultusunda belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır Araştırmaya katılan öğrencilerin öğretmenlik mesleğini tercih etmelerinde etkili olan faktörler karşılaştırıldığında; öğrencilerin cinsiyet, yaş, öğretim durumu ve aile gelir düzeyine göre öğretmenlik mesleğine tutumları, öğretim durumu dışında gruplar arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark saptanmıştır (p<0.05). Öğrencilerin okulöncesi öğretmenliğine devam etmekle ilgili sorulan açık uçlu soruda, kızlar okul öncesi öğretmenliği bölümünde öğrenim almaya erkeklere göre daha olumlu görüşe sahip oldukları görülmüştür.

The aim of this study is to search the effective factors in selecting this department as an occupation of preschool teaching students. "The attitude scale of school teaching" which was developed by Börü (2006) was applied to 170 students of preschool teaching department who study at Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University by using scanning method. In the findings that were obtained in the study, their selection of school teaching was tried to be defined in terms of consciousness, assurance, ideal, interaction and total factors that are the sub-dimensions of the study. Statistically, significant differences were detected between the groups according to the their sex, age, education level and family income when the effective factors in selecting school teaching of preschool teaching students were compared (p<0,05). In the open ended question about progression of the students to the school teaching, it is seen that the females have more positive views towards taking education in the department preschool teaching in comparison with the males.
