Okul yöneticilerinin iletişim sürecindeki etkililiğine ilişkin öğretmen algıları

Bu arastırmada eğitim örgütlerinin sağlıklı sekilde isleyisinin gerçeklesmesinde hayati önem tasıyan iletisim sürecinde yöneticilerin etkililiğinin öğretmen algıları açısından değerlendirilmesi amaçlanılmıstır. Arastırma tarama modelinde olup betimsel bir çalısmadır. Arastırma grubunu, 2007- 2008 öğretim yılında MEB merkezi hizmet içi eğitim faaliyetine katılan, 250 öğretmen olusturmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak Özmen ve Yörük (2007) tarafından gelistirilen, Yöneticinin Đlgisi, Đletisim Yöntemi, Çevreyle Bütünlesme ve Öğretime Odaklasma olmak üzere dört faktörden olusan ölçek kullanılmıstır. Verilerin analizinde, yüzde, frekans, aritmetik ortalama, t-testi ve “Kruskal Wallis H testi” kullanılmıstır. Yöneticilerin iletisim sürecindeki etkililiklerine iliskin öğretmen algıları, en yüksek ortalamaya “Yöneticinin ilgisi” boyutunda sahiptir. Bu boyutu “Đletisim yöntemi”, “Çevreyle bütünlesme” ve “Öğretime odaklanma” boyutları izlemektedir. Arastırmada öğretmen algılarında cinsiyet değiskenine göre bayan öğretmenlerin lehine anlamlı fark saptanmıstır.

The aim of this study is to examine the perceptions of teachers about the effectiveness of school administrators in communication process. The study was designed in the form of a survey study and during the study descriptive method was used. The subjects of this study were 250 teachers who participated in centralized inservice training program organized by Ministry of National Education (MoNE) in 2007-2008 academic year. During the study the data were collected by means of the scale developed by Özmen ve Yörük (2007) and the scale has four factors as the administrators’ interest, communication method, integration with environment and focusing on teaching. To analyze the data collected, frequency, percentage, mean values were calculated and t- test and “Kruskal Wallis H tests were used. The findings of the study indicated that teachers’ perceptions about the effectiveness of school administrators in communication process have the highest mean score in the administrators’ interest dimension and communication method, integration with environment and focusing on teaching dimensions follow this dimension. The findings also indicated that teachers perceptions show significant difference in favour of female teachers when genders of teachers are concerned.
