The purpose of the study is to identify whether there is a relationship between fifth grade students’ self-efficacy beliefs towards science and technology and their levels of achievement in scientific concepts. Accordingly, the study was based on the survey model. The study employed ‘The Science and Technology Self-Efficacy Scale’ and ‘The Concept Achievement Test’. These measuring instruments were implemented on the fifth grade students from the central elementary schools located in the central district of Niğde. Consequently, the sample of the study is to include 363 fifth grade students. The study concluded that there was a significantly positive correlation between the students’ self-efficacy beliefs towards science and technology and their level of achievement in the concepts included within the scope of the course. Furthermore, it showed that their self-efficacy beliefs accounted for 34% of the total variance concerning their achievement in the concepts.
