The research aims to put forward the views about how the pre-school teacher candidates evaluate children's books and which characteristics in these books do they take into account. In the study, survey method was used. In the study, Afyon Kocatepe University Faculty of Education third and fourth grade students studying at the Department of Pre-school Education in the academic year 2010-2011, are included. The questionnaire prepared by Gündüz (2007) is used to determine the views of third and fourth grade students about pre-school children's books. In the analysis of the data, the one-way ANOVA and independent samples T-test was used. The findings are discussed and interpreted.
