The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between the teacher candidates' inclinations for critical thinking and their conflict management styles. Working group of the study which utilized relational review model consisted of 95 teacher candidates attending AİBÜ College of Physical Education and Sports, Department of Teaching Physical Education during 2009-2010 educational year. California Critical Thinking Inclinations Scale and Survey of Conflict Management Styles were used as data collection tools in the study. Frequencies, percentages, arithmetic means, standard deviation and Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient were used in data analysis. It was determined at the end of the study that teacher candidates did not obtain critical thinking skills at the desired level and they preferred The Democratic Solution from among the conflict management styles. A medium level, positive and meaningful relationship was identified between the teacher candidates' inclinations for critical thinking and their conflict management styles.
