Bir öykü çözümlemesi: pembe incili kaftan’a göstergebilimsel bir bakış

Bu çalışmanın amacı; Ömer Seyfettin'in Pembe İncili Kaftan adlı öyküsünü, gösterge-bilimin ve Paris okulunun kurucusu olan A. J. Greimas'ın anlamlama kuramının yöntemi doğ-rultusunda (anlatısal metinsel) çözümlemektir. "Greimas göstergebilimi, anlamlı bütünlere öz-gü anlamsal ayrılıkları, anlamsal eklemlenişi, anlamın üretilişini (anlamlama) bir üst dil aracı-lığıyla yeniden üreterek yorumlamayı amaçlar."

In this study, I attempted to analyze the story which is entitled as "Pembe İncili Kaftan" of the turkish author Ömer Seyfettin, according to the method of A.J Greimas semiotics. By using this method I aimed to examine the implicite context of the story which is based on the demonstration of the magnificence and of the dignity of Ottoman Empire, through an invaluable caftan. With the help of semiotics, I tried to point out the profond meanings which happen to be found in subtext of the story and to underline the relation between them.
