This study aims at comparing the preservice physical education teachers' self-efficacy beliefs and professional concern levels. 347 PE teachers candidate, 130 women and 217 men, accepted to participate voluntarily in the study. Data were collected through Teachers' Sense of Efficacy Scale (TSES) developed by Tschannen-Moran and Hoy and adapted into Turkish by Çapa, Çakıroğlu and Sarıkaya, and Concern Scale for Physical Education Teachers developed by McCormack (1996) and adapted into Turkish by Özer, Şad, Açak and Kafkas. According to the findings of the study subjects' self-efficacy levels differed significantly by gender, doing sports with a license and type of high school. Moreover, a moderate level of correlation was found between self-efficacy and professional concern levels.
