AUTHOR GUIDELINES

 

Journal of Business, Economics and Finance (JBEF) publishes original, unpublished studies related to business, economics and finance topics. Each paper is reviewed initially by the Editor and, if it is judged suitable for publication, it is then sent to at least two reviewers for blind review. Reviewers are asked to respond in 30 days. Editor will declare if the paper is accepted, rejected or should be revised in one month period.

  • JBEF accepts manuscripts only in Word format.
  • All papers must be submitted electronically.
  • Submit your paper to [email protected]
  • All submitted manuscripts must be original work that is not under submission at another journal or under consideration for publication in another form, such as a monograph or chapter of a book.
  • Authors of submitted papers are obligated not to submit their manuscripts for publication elsewhere until an editorial decision is rendered on their submission. Further, authors of accepted papers are prohibited from publishing the results in other publications that appear before the paper is published in the Journal unless they receive approval for doing so from the editor. Please follow the below format in the manuscripts.
  • The cover page should include only the title of the paper and the name and affiliations of the authors.
  • The following page should include the abstract of not more than 200 words , keywords and JEL-codes. The name and affiliations of the authors shall not be written on this page and the follows.
  • The text of the manuscript should be prepared in 10 pt Times New Roman type with 2,5 cm margins The text should be single spaced.
  • The manuscript text should include Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology and Data, Results and Conclusion sub sections and followed by References and Appendix (if there is any).
  • The introduction section should be numbered as 1. Subsequent headings should follow consecutive numbers. Subsection headings should be written as 1.2, 2.2 etc.
  • If there are footnotes; these should appear at the bottom of the same page they are used. Footnotes should be single spaced with 10 pt.
  • Tables, figures, graphs and exhibits must be numbered with Arabic numerals (1,2 etc).
  • References should be noted as Bony and Fried (2011) states that ….or …. (Bony and Fried, 2011) in the text and the details should be provided in the References part .

 

Important note: Please make sure that all tables, graphs and exhibits have 2,5 cm margins.
