Kur ân imlâsının gelişim süreci üzerine bazı tespit ve değerlendirmeler

Kur'ân-ı Kerim nüzulünden itibaren Hz. Peygamber döneminde yazıya geçirilmeye başlamış bir kitaptır. İlk halife Hz. Ebu Bekir döneminde cemedilmiş, ikinci halife Hz. Osman döneminde de çoğaltılarak İslâm beldelerine gönderilmiştir. Okuma kolaylığı sağlamak için o dönemden günümüze kadar geçen sürede bu metin üzerinde imla bakımından bazı düzenlemeler yapılmıştır. Elinizdeki makalede Hz. Osman döneminden sonra Kur'ân imlası konusunda yaşanan gelişme sürecini özetlemekte ve bu süreçte yaşananlara dair bazı tespit ve değerlendirmeler yapılmaktadır. Makale Kur'ân'ın metinsel yapısıyla ilgili çalışmalar çerçevesinde resmu'l-mushaf, noktalama, harekeleme, tahmis, taşir, tahzib, cüzlere ayırma (teczie), secde yerleri ve vakf alametlerinin gelişim sürecini ele alarak bunlara dair bazı tespit ve değerlendirmeleri içermektedir.

The Qur'ān is a book that began to be transcribed immediately after its revelation. It was gathered together at the time of the first Caliph Abū Bakr and was copied and sent to different lands of Islam at the term of the third Caliph 'Uthmān. Since then, there have been made some orthographical adjustments to the text to facilitate its reading. The present study aims at outlining the process of the development of the Qur'anic orthography posterior to the caliphate of 'Uthmān, making some findings and assessments with regard to the events that took place in this course. The study also discusses some elements and terms of the Qur'ānic orthography such as rasm al-mushaf (the script of the Qur'ān), adding diacritical marks to the Qur'ān, dividing the verses in fifths (takhmīs) and tenths (ta'shīr), illustration of the Qur'ān, dividing the verses into separate parts, ascertaining the verses that require the reader and the listener to go to prostration upon reading and listening, determining the stopping points in reading.
