Aşağı çekme sendromu, henüz psikoloji literatüründe yerini almamış olan bir kavramdır. Başarısız olma eğilimi esasına dayanan bu sendromun literatür içerisindeki yeri depresyon ve psikopati arasında olabilir. Ama aslında bu sendrom her iki kavramdan da farklıdır. Ortaya çıkış şekli tamamen aile yapısı ile bağlantılıdır. Müslüman aile yapısı tam da bu koşulları sağlayabilen uygun bir aile yapısıdır. Aşağı çekme sendromunun yapısı kadar doğurabileceği sonuçlar da önemlidir. Ortaya çıkış şekli itibarı ile Müslüman ülkelerde daha sık görülen aşağı çekme sendromunun ortadoğu ve kuzey Afrika'da gerçekleşen ayaklanmalar üzerinde de geniş çaplı etkisi vardır.

The syndrome of pulling down is a concept which has not taken place at the Psychological Literature yet. The place of syndrome which depends on the tendency of failure, at the literature might be between depression and psychopathy. But this syndrome is actually different than these two concepts. The way it arises is correlated with the family structure. The Muslim family structure is the suitable family structure which includes the necessary conditions. As much as the structure of the syndrome of pulling down, the results which this syndrome can bring forth are important. Pulling down syndrome which is mostly seen at the Muslim countries due to the way it arises, has a significant impact on the riots in middle east and North Africa.
