The purpose of this study, beyond showing the existence of the relationship between the organizational culture and the organizational commitment which had been proven before by many academical researchs, to identify the impacts on the banking sector which is an intense source of employment. This study, run for especially employees of goverment and private sector based banks, tries to explain the different perceptions in these higly circulated sectors. The findings obtained after statistical analyses and test made on field study, reveal the measure of infuence of organisational culture levels over organisational commitment. It has been determined that, in the organisations having powerful organisational culture, the employees' organisational commitment has been affected in a positive way.
