Teknik öğretmenlerin ve teknik öğretmen adaylarının teknolojiye yönelik tutumlarının karşılaştırılması

Bu arastırmada; teknik ögretmenlerin ve teknik ögretmen adaylarının teknolojiye yönelik tutumlarını bazı degiskenlere göre karsılastırmak amaçlanmıstır. Arastırma betimleme-survey yöntemi kullanılarak hazırlanmıstır. Arastırmanın çalısma grubunu Ankara’nın merkez ilçelerinde farklı mesleki-teknik liselerinde görev yapan farklı branslardan toplam 215 teknik ögretmenle, Gazi Üniversitesi Teknik Egitim Fakültesinin farklı bölümlerinde 1. ve 4. sınıflarda kayıtlı olan toplam 340 ögrenci olusturmustur. Arastırmada, Akbaba-Altun (2002)’nın hazırladıgı teknolojiye yönelik tutum ölçegi, kisisel bilgiler formu ve açık uçlu 1 sorudan olusan ölçme aracı kullanılmıstır. Ölçegin geneli için cronbach-alfa katsayısı 0.90 olarak hesaplanmıstır. 5’li Likert tipindeki ölçek cevaplayanlara kesinlikle katılıyorum (5) ile kesinlikle katılmıyorum (1) arasında degisen seçenekler sunmaktadır. Arastırma verileri SPSS– 11.5 paket programı yardımıyla degerlendirilmistir. Bu kapsamda betimsel istatistikler ve bagımsız gruplar t-testi analizi yapılmıstır.Arastırma sonunda; mesleki-teknik liselerde görev yapan teknik ögretmenlerin teknolojiye yönelik tutumları teknik ögretmen adaylarına göre daha düsük düzeyde çıkmıstır. Ögretmenlerin ve ögretmen adaylarının bransları açısından bakıldıgında elektronik ve bilgisayar branslarındaki hem ögretmenlerin ve hem de ögretmen adaylarının teknolojiye yönelik tutumları diger branslara göre daha yüksek düzeyde çıkmıstır. Diger taraftan ögretmenlerin kıdemleri açısından tutum puanlarında 10 yıl ve altı kıdeme sahip ögretmenler lehine anlamlı farklılık çıkarken, ögretmen adayları açısından, 4. sınıflar yönünde anlamlı farklılık oldugu belirlenmistir. Cinsiyet açısından teknolojiye yönelik tutum puanlarında hem erkek ögretmenler hem de erkek ögretmen adayları yönünde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık tespit edilmistir.Hem ögretmenler hem de ögretmen adayları teknoloji destekli egitim-ögretim ortamlarının saglanmasının teknolojiye yönelik tutumlarını arttıracagını belirtmislerdir.

The purpose of this study was to compare technical teachers’ and technical teacher candidates’ attitudes toward technology through a number of variables. This research has been done according to the description-survey method. The sample group of this research consists of 215 technical teachers, who are working in different vocationaltechnical colleges and different departments in central towns of Ankara, and 340 students, who are in 1. and 4. grades in different departments of The Technical Educational Faculty of Gazi University. In the research, the attitude scale toward technology, which Akbaba-Altun (2002) prepared, personal information form and the open-ended question scale including one question were performed. Cronbach-Alpha for the whole scale was to be 0.90. Likert type scale having five parts offered options changing between (5) strongly agree and (1) strongly disagree. The data were analyzed by using SPSS-11.5 packet program. Analysis of descriptive statistics and t-test were done. At the end of research; it is clear that attitudes of technical teachers’ candidates, working in vocational-technical colleges, toward technology is higher than attitudes of technical teachers. When we take departments of teachers’ and teacher candidates’ departments into consideration, it is found that attitudes of technical teachers and technical teacher candidates working in electronic and computer departments. On the other hand, it is determined that teachers who has 10 year and below seniority and teacher candidates who are in 4th grade has a meaningful difference in favor of them about their attitude scores. About their sex, a meaningful difference is determined statistically in attitude scores of male teachers and male teacher candidates toward technology. Both teachers and teacher candidates emphasized that providing educationinstruction mediums supported with technology raise their attitudes toward technology.
