Sınıf ve sosyal bilgiler ögretmenlerinin gezi-gözlem yöntemine iliskin görüsleri

Bu arastırmanın amacı, Sınıf ve Sosyal Bilgiler ögretmenlerinin gezi gözlem yöntemi hakkındaki görüslerini belirlemektir. Arastırma, Ankara ve Kırsehir ilinde görev yapan toplam 152 ögretmen ile gerçeklestirilmistir. Tarama modelinin kullanıldıgı arastırmada, verilerinin toplaması amacıyla, arastırmacılar tarafından gelistirilen anket kullanılmıstır. Arastırma verilerinin analizinde SPSS paket programı kullanılmıs ve verilen cevapların yüzde, frekansları çıkarılmıstır. Arastırma bulgularından elde edilen sonuçlar su sekilde özetlenebilir; Gezi – gözlem metodunu Sınıf ve Sosyal Bilgiler ögretmenleri tarafından sık kullanılan bir metod degildir. Gezi düzenleyen ögretmenler, imkânları dogrultusunda yakın gördükleri, sehrin tarihi, turistik yerlerine, ders konuları ile ilgili resmi kurumlara, ögrencinin dikkatini çekebilecegini düsündükleri yerlere gezi düzenlemektedir. Ögretmenlerin bu yöntemi uygulayamamalarının veya az uygulamalarının nedeni; ekonomik problemler, gezi esnasında kaza ve tehlikeden çekinme, bürokratik islemlerin uzun sürmesidir. Gezi gözlem yönteminin daha sık uygulanması için ögretmenlerin en çok ifade ettigi öneri ise; ekonomik problemlerin giderilmesi ve bürokratik islemlerin azaltılmasıdır.

The goal of this research is to present the opinions of class and social sciences teachers about trip and observation method. The research has been conducted with 152 teachers working in Ankara and Kırsehir. In the research during which scanning model has been used, a questionnaire which was developed by researchers has been applied in order to collect data. While analysing the research data, the SPSS Package Programme has been used and percentage frequencies of given answers have been found. The results of our findings can be summarised as so: trip and observation is not a method frequently used by class and social sciences teachers. Teachers generally organise trips to their cities’ historical and touristical places, public institutions taught in lessons and places where they think to attract students’ attention. The reasons why teachers can not realise or rarely realise this method are economical problems, to avoid accident and dangers during trips and prolixity of bureaucratical treatments. Most teachers’ offer for making the usage of trip and observation method more possible is to meet the economical problems and to lessen the bureaucratical treatments.
