Sosyal değerler emek ve sosyal edebiyata dair bazı düşünceler

İnsanların faaliyet ve davranışlarının ölçüsü olan, onların maddi ve manevi ihtiyaçlarını gidermeye yarayan ve onları diğer varlıklardan ayıran ilkelere veya araçlara sosyal değerler diyebiliriz. Sosyal değerlerin en başta gelen özelliği faaliyet ve davranışlarımızın ölçüsü (veya kriteri) olma özelliğidir. Yani sosyal değerler doğru ile yanlışın, iyi ile kötünün, güzel ile çirkin olanın, hak ile zulmün ne olduğunun anlaşılmasında bize ölçüler, kriterler sunmaktadır. Sosyal değerlerin diğer özellikleri insana özgü olması, evrensel olması, çift kutuplu olması, kendi aralarında bütünlük ve paralellik içinde olmasıdır. Bunlara ek olarak sosyal değerlere sahip olmak biz insanlara mutluluk, eksikliği ise mutsuzluk verir. Sosyal değerlere ihtiyacımız ise bütün ihtiyaçların üzerindedir. Sosyal değerlerin kendi içinde bir sistem oluşturup oluşturmadığı ya da nasıl sınıflandırılacağı üzerinde önemle durulması gerekir. Sonuçta sosyal değerleri maddi değerler ve manevi değerler olmak üzere ikiye ayırabiliriz. Emek ise hem maddi hem de manevi değerin bir arada bulunduğu bir sosyal değerdir. Edebiyatın da sosyal değerlerden biri olan estetik değerin içinde yer aldığını, onun da sosyal sorunlara daha çok yönelerek bir sosyal edebiyat düzlemine doğru kayması gerektiğini belirtmeliyiz.

It can be told that social values  those principles or instruments measures of people’s activities and behaviors, to serve for their physical and spiritual needs, principles or instruments that separate them from other beings. The leading feature of social values is being measure (or criteria) of our activities and behaviors. Namely, social values offers dimensions and criteria on understanding of what is right and wrong, good and evil, beautiful and ugly, justice and tyranny.Other features of social values are, to be unique to human beings, to be universal, to be a double pole, integrity and parallel to each other. In addition, to have social values give happiness to us as people; the lack of social values gives unhappiness. The need of social values is on all of our needs.It is important and necessary to focus on if social values built up a system in itself or how to classify the social values. At the end, we can distinguish social values in two types of material values  and spiritual values. Labor is also a social value that a mix of both material and spiritual values. On the other hand, literature is included in aesthetic value which is another social value. So, literature has to head towards more social problems and has to shift towards the level of social literature.
