Kant: zaman zıvanasından çıkarken ben başkası olur

Antik Yunan’dan modern döneme kadar çevrimsel (döngüsel) zaman kavrayışı hâkimdir. Kant’ın “a priori bilgi ilkesi olarak zaman” kavrayışının gelişimi, Descartes’ın ben felsefesinin gelişimi ile çakışır. Dolayısıyla bu ben kavrayışı değişecektir. Deleuze, Kant’ın tasarımsal bilgi kuramını anlattığı derslerinde, a priori bilgi ilkeleri olarak zaman ve mekân ile kategorileri tartışır. Kant zaman ve mekânı, kategorilerin arasına almaz. Bu kavrayışa göre özne, birbirine indirgenemeyen iki biçime sahiptir ve zamandaki bir kesikliktir. Deleuze, bunun için Rimbaud’nun “Ben başkasıdır” ve Shakespeare’in “Zaman zıvanasından çıktı” ifadelerinden yararlanır. Bu makalede, söz konusu iki ifadenin Kant’ın bilgi kuramı ile uygunluğu araştırılacaktır. Bir başka ifade ile “zaman zıvanasından çıktığında, ben başkası mıdır?”gösterilmeye çalışılacaktır.

From the Ancient Greek to modern age, understanding the time as a cyclical process has been dominant. The development of the understanding on time “as a priori principle of cognition” coincides with the development of Cartesian subject philosophy. So, in relation with this change also the apprehension of “subject” will change. Deleuze discusses in his lectures on Kant’s schematic knowledge theory the notions of ‘time’ and ‘space’ together with categories that are the forms of a prior knowledge. Kant does not accept time and space as a category. According to that apprehension subject has two forms that can not be reduced to each other and it is an interruption in time. Hence, Deleuze benefited from the statements “I am an other” by Rimbaud and “Time is out of joint” by Shakespeare. In that article the harmony between these two subject matter statements and Kant’s theory of knowledge will be examined. In other words, it will be an attempt to show “when the time is out of joint, am I another?”
