Ibn haldun’un tarihselci devlet kuramı

Felsefe tarihinde ilk kez İbn Haldun'la birlikte tarih felsefî bir disiplin olarak ele alınmış ve bilimsel temelleri araştırılmaya başlanmıştır. O, tarihsel olguları ve bunların toplumsal yaşam alanındaki tezahürlerini, toplumun doğuşu, gelişmesi ve çöküşlerini ve bunların nedenlerini olgusal bir yöntemle ilk kez inceleyip ortaya koyan kişidir. Böylece kendisinin de farkında olduğu ve belirttiği üzere yeni bir bilim dalının kurucusu olarak kabul edilir. Bu anlamda İbn Haldun, kurmuş olduğu bu yeni bilim dalının yöntemini, temel kavram ve problemlerini, bölümlerini ve bu bölümlerde işlenen konuları belirler. Bu yeni bilim dalının konusu insanın toplumsal hayatıdır; malzemesi ise tarihsel ve gözlemlenebilir toplumsal olgulardır. Bu tarihsel malzeme ayrıca İbn Haldun'un bir devlet kuramı oluşturmasına yardımcı olur. Bu kurama göre devletin kuruluşundan çöküşüne kadar geçirdiği tüm aşamalar nedensellik zinciriyle birbirine bağlanmıştır.

History, in the history of philosophy, had been priorly started to be taken up as a philosophical discipline and been inquired to expose its scientific foundations by İbn Khaldun. He is the first thinker that investigates historical facts and their manifestations in social life with a method which would help to discover them in their causality. Therefore Ibn Khaldun is accepted as the founder of a new science as he was also aware. In this respect he designates the method, the basic concepts and problems, and the subjects and subsubjects of this new science. The subject of this new science is the social life of human being; and its material is the observable historical and social facts. Furthermore this historical material enables him to constitude an authentic state theory. According to this theory, all of the stages of the state that passed from its establishment to its collapsing are tied up to each other with the chain of causality.
